over a nanny. Recently Mariah Carey's twin children, Moroccan and 
Monroe, were seen being taken to a gymnastics class and afterwards to

seen with them for a while and according to rumours, it is all because 
Mariah pilfered the nanny from Kourtney by enticing her with a higher 
salary and other benefits.

Former
 Nigeria's Minister of Finance, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala has been 
appointed a member of the international advisory panel of Asian 
Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), a multilateral Development bank 
set up on December 25, 2015, with an initial capital of$100billion, one 
million shares and an initial paid-up capital of $20 billion.<br />

Speaking to state house correspondents at the end of the National 
Economic Council, NEC, yesterday July 21st, the Minister of Budget and 
National Planning, Udoma Udo Udoma, said that the economy is presently 
in a bad shape but would start to pick up as from the third quarter. He 
confirmed Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun's comment at the senate 
briefing yesterday that Nigeria is technically in recession.<br />

“Recession is basically when you have two quarters of negative growth. 
We had a first quarter of negative growth and we are still waiting to 
get all the figures for the second quarter, which has just ended in 
June. The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) will be giving us all the 
figures but if as we suspect the second quarter is also negative, then 
of course technically you could say that we are in recession if those 
figures turned out to be so. But even if we are not, the situation in 
the economy right now is one that, of course, we are addressing. Some of
 it was expected, some of it was not. We did expect the low oil price 
but we did not expect the level of disruption that we got in the Niger 
Delta, such that oil production went down and we are not likely to 
achieve  the 2.2 million barrels per day because it went down to 1.2 
million barrels per day, a little over about 1.3 million barrels per 
day. So you can imagine the impact of that. Measures are being taken to 
address those issues. We expect that by the third quarter we will start 
to pick up and we expect to finish the year in positive territory. That 
is what we are expecting. We expect to be marginally positive by the end
 of this year. But by next year we will now start to pick up and we will
 have much more growth next year,” he said.</blockquote>

Few days after suspected herdsmen ambushed and killed Lazarus Agaei, a 
first class traditional ruler alongside his wife, son and police guard 
in Bokkos local government area in Plateau state,  fighting broke out in
 the same area last night as unknown assailants stormed the village to

The 29 Brigade Quick Reaction Force (QRF), in conjunction with Civilian 
JTF carried out an ambush against Boko Haram terrorists east of Marguba 
village in Kaga Local Government Area, Borno State yesterday Friday. The
 troops killed 2 of the Boko Haram terrorists, while some of them 
sustained gun shot wounds as could be seen from traces of blood during 
mopping up.<br />

The 42-day countdown to being declared Ebola free for a 
third time began on Thursday, Dec 3, after Liberia released last 
two known cases. The 
patients, a father and a younger brother of a 15-year-old boy who died 
on November 23, were discharged from a treatment unit (ETU) in the 
capital 
Monrovia.</div>

human-to-human transmission in May, only to see the fever resurface six 
weeks later, and officially credited with beating the epidemic for a 
second time in September.</div>

 Speaking to state Radio, Tolbert Nyensuah, head of the country's Ebola response said,</div>

     "As far as we know (there
 is) no case in the ETUs in the entire republic of Liberia,"</div>

based on our epidemiological investigations." Nyesuah added.</div>

Nyensuah
 said 165 potential contacts of the family -- 34 of them high-risk -- 
are going into the third week of the 21-day observation period, with 
none showing signs of illness.</div>

Liberia was the last country 
affected by the Ebola outbreak, with Sierra Leone 
declared free of transmission in November and Guinea's last known case 
recovering two weeks ago.</div>

The patients' recovery triggered a 
42-day countdown -- twice the incubation period of the virus -- before 
Liberia can be declared free of transmission for a third time.</div>

Ebola
 has left more than 11,300 people dead since December 2013 in its worst 
ever outbreak. Liberia has registered almost 10,700 cases and more than 
4,800 deaths.</div>
