An 18-year-old girl has just died in a head-on
collision with a lorry just two hours after she received her driving licence.
Tori Earl who passed her driver's test on Thursday when she was involved in a horrific crash with her friend Kendall Lee Burke both died on the spot.
It is thought their Suzuki Baleno was hit from behind as they changed lanes and went into the path of an oncoming lorry on the New England Highway, in Australia.
Tory’s brother, Garry, told the Sydney Morning
Herald that "She was excited to show everyone that she'd got her licence, her
friends, and us her family. She was so proud to get her licence ... it was the happiest day of her life," he said.
