Kerry Katona Give birth to her Fifth Child at 33

Kerry Katona has confirmed both she and her newborn daughter nearly died while she was in labour.

The 33-year-old star and her fiancé George Kay were 'a mess' during a terrible 12 hours when they feared their baby girl, who they have named Dylan-Jorge Rose, might not make it.

She told OK! magazine: 'I screamed as the doctors tried to revive her.

'I was losing loads and loads of blood – the placenta burst and had to be manually removed.'

Kerry - who gave birth to Dylan on April 4 - admitted the couple went from being overjoyed at the birth of their daughter to being thrown into 'baby chaos'.

George admitted he was in a terrible state when both Kerry and Dylan were being seen to and he feared the worst.

He added to the publication: 'In my lifetime I’ve seen some horrific things but the thought of losing your two most loved people at the same time … I was a mess.'

Since welcoming their daughter, both George and Kerry - who also has daughters Molly, 12, and Lilly-Sue, 11, with her first husband Brian McFadden and Heidi, seven, and Max, five, with second husband Mark Croft - have been waxing lyrical about their new addition on Twitter.

Kerry tweeted: 'She is My Heart, My Soul,"best thing that ever happened to me",The source of many laughs and a few tears.She is my daughter and she is my world.

'Finds it Amazing That Someone so Tiny, and Someone Who Doesn't Even Know what They've Done Has Managed 2 teach me How 2 love all over again. I love my baby. (sic)'

She later added: 'Watching @mrgsjkay in the middle of the night feeding his daughter just melts my heart! #allmydreamshavecometrue #theperfectdaddy xxxxxxxxxx (sic)'

To which George replied: '@KerryKatona7 haha she's my little pride & joy!! Don't know about perfect daddy.. I will do my best.. Love you both all the world xxxx (sic)'
