It was a sad day for the Coronation Street posse as they said goodbye to one of their beloved cast members, Julie Hesmondalgh.
And to make sure that the actress went out with a bang, a glitzy celebration was organised in her honour in Manchester City Centre.
Amongst the guests was the stunning Catherine Tyldesley and Brooke Vincent, who pulled out all the glamour stops of Friday evening.
Despite the bitter cold, Catherine braved a plunging purple gown, bare-legged and teamed with a glitzy gold choker, a nude clutch bag and a matching pair of nude pointed stilettos.
She fixed her flowing blonde locks in glamourous Hollywood waves whilst opting for vixen smokey eye make-up, peach blush and pink lip gloss, whilst bronzing her limbs to perfection.
Catherine, who was holding a patent gift bag, took to Twitter to express her sadness over Julie leaving the popular TV soap.
The 30-year-old actress, who plays Eva Price in the soap, wrote: 'goodbye drinakage avec @juliehes then 'getting old' drinkage avec @loulou_25 #winner #emosh'
She arrived at the venue alongside Brooke, 21, who opted for a slightly warmer yet just as elegant ensemble.
The star, who plays the role of Sophie Webster in Coronation Street, was kitted out in a fitted black polo neck jumper which she wore alongside a pair of tight red trousers.
