German chancellor, Angela Merkel has been named the 2015 Time Person of
the Year. She becomes the 4th woman since 1927 to be named the magazines
Person of the Year. She beat Caitlyn Jenner, ISIS leader Abu Bakr
Al-Baghdadi, Black Lives Matter activists, Travis Kalanick, Vladimir
Putin, Hassan Rouhani and Donald Trump who were all shortlisted for the
coveted title.
