Ekiti State Governor, Ayo Fayose, has urged Senators from the state to give former governor, Kayode Fayemi, whom he defeated at the State’s last Governorship election, the needed support so he can have an easy passage through the ministerial screening slated for next week at the Senate.
Mr. Fayose said this during a meeting with student leaders from the state under the aegis of Federation of Ekiti Student Union in Ado-Ekiti  yesterday.
“Ekiti is my priority. I call on all the House of Representatives members and senators that went to Abuja from here, some people petitioned the National Assembly stating how Fayemi sank Ekiti into heavy debts, I have told the members not to do that. It is God that judges people, not us. You must support him there. They should not go to the Senate and oppose Kayode Fayemi, no, they must never do that. An Ekiti man is an Ekiti man. I appeal to everybody, you must support him,” he said.
Anyone understands this? Fayose and Fayemi have always been sworn political enemies and Fayose was the one that unseated Fayemi as the Governor of Ekiti State. Aside that he had called him out severally alleging different cases against him. I still don’t understand, this is not about forgiveness, mba. Who understands?
