Ajimobi set a new record as his now the first person to be elected as the governor of Oyo state twice ever since the state have been created.
Ajimobi (APC) pulled 327,310 votes,
Ladoja of Accord had 254,520 votes, Alao Akala of LP had 184,111 votes, Teslim
Folarin of PDP had 79,019 votes and SDP had 54,740.
