The Nigerian Army in Maiduguri, Borno State have announced
that starting from today, Christmas Eve, no vehicle would be allowed to move
in Maiduguri and some part of Borno in order to avert major attacks planned by
boko haram insurgents this season.
The ban will start from 6:00pm today, 24th December to 7:00am on Sunday 28th December 2014, a statement released by the Army said.
