Talk show host Wendy Williams has responded to the Aaliyah biopic
backlash which she co-execute produced. Most people who have seen the
production didn't like it and have dragged Wendy and Lifetime by the
weave. But in a classic Wendy fashion, she was unapologetic when she
addressed the issue on her show, telling her audience,
"I see my Aaliyah movie broke the Internet this weekend! Errbody got an
opinion. Well, I must tell you, whether you love or hate, you watched.
It was the second-highest rated movie on all of cable this year so far.
Not just Lifetime. All of cable."
