Pharrell Williams has been added to the line-up of performers at the BRIT Awards 2014.
The 40-year-old rapper will take to the stage at the prestigious ceremony on February 19 at London's The O2, and he is delighted to have been asked to play at the iconic event.
He said: 'I always look forward to seeing the artists that come together on the BRITs stage. I'm so humbled by this opportunity - performing at the awards will be surreal.'

Rudimental and Bastille are also set to perform at the event, with more announcements due to be made in the coming weeks.
While he has missed out on a BRIT nomination in the International Male Solo Artist category, Pharrell took the UK by storm last year when appearing on Robin Thicke's hit single Blurred Lines and Daft Punk's popular track Get Lucky.

The rapper is also currently number one in the Official Singles Chart with his top tune Happy.
Katy will be hoping to take home the International Female Solo Artist prize when she performs at the ceremony, while Bruno is up for International Male Solo Artist.
The brunette beauty recently said: 'The BRITs has always showcased the music that I love and am influenced by. It's an honour to play at such a prestigious event where musicality shines at its brightest.'
Along with the Manic Street Preachers, Arctic Monkeys are the only British band to have won Best Group and the prestigious MasterCard British Album twice.
The Do I Wanna Know hitmakers - who are made up of front man Alex Turner, Jamie Cook, Nick O'Malley and Matt Helders - are up for two accolades at the ceremony, British Group and British Album of the Year, and BRITs bosses were determined to get them on the bill.
Christian Tattersfield, BRITs Chairman, said: 'It took a lot of wining and dining on behalf of the Brits but it was my absolute priority to get Arctic Monkeys to perform.
'It has been their year. It helps that the Brit Awards is now seen as a credible event and is no longer the shambles it was four or five years ago.'
Meanwhile, comedian James Corden will return to the stage for the fifth time as presenter of the prestigious event, but has confirmed that it will be his last stint as presenter.
James said: 'I really love the BRITs. I'm such a fan. I'll miss not doing it after this one but fully intend to enjoy every second of BRITs 2014.'
He will be handing out awards designed by British hat desinger to the stars, Philip Treacy who added: 'Music has always been my inspiration and I’m fortunate to have worked with some of the music industry’s greatest artists.
'My inspiration for the trophy comes from a uniquely British genre of music, Punk.'
