Girl power: Selena Gomez reveals she gets love advice from Katy Perry among other hot topics in the March issue of Seventeen |
The 21-year-old Come & Get It star described the older singer as the person she turns to for relationship advice in the March issue of Seventeen magazine.
Selena may be on top of the world with a smash album and huge fanbase, but when she needs help in the love department Katy is her go-to gal.
'I actually talked to her about guys who are intimidated by strong girls,' Selena told the magazine.
'I haven’t found someone yet who could understand my lifestyle, support it, love me through it, and not be threatened by it.'
Selena may have been referring to the 19-year-old Never Say Never singer, with whom she's rumoured to be seeing again after a year-long break.

talked to Katy 'about guys who are intimidated by strong girls' - which
might have helped Selena get back with Justin Bieber after a year-long

be reconciled with her former love Justin Bieber, who posted this cosy
snapshot of the couple on January 4

The Royals singer spoke unkindly about Selena in September, suggesting that Come & Get It was anti-feminist and that she was 'sick of women being portrayed this way.'
Taking the high road, Selena told Seventeen: 'I’m going to support her whether she likes me or not because I think she’s doing great things.'
High road: Selena's forgiving stance applies as
well to singer Lorde, who dissed her song Come & Get It as
anti-feminist, but Selena pledges to support her 'whether she likes me
or not'
She added: 'Someday I will see her and we’ll be cool.'
The former Wizards Of Waverly Place star admitted that she often felt 'defeated' and 'like an underdog' when compared to Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato during her Disney days.
That certainly can't be said now of Selena, who posed for three electrifying Seventeen covers.
In each shot, the dark-haired diva wears a T-shirt of varying hue with words such as 'brave,' 'confident' and 'dream' written on them.
