ustin Bieber has allegedly claimed his mother, Pattie Mallette, provided him with prescription drugs.
The 19-year-old pop superstar, who was charged with drink driving, resisting arrest and drag racing in the early hours of Thursday morning in Miami, Florida, has reportedly told police his mum gave him anti-anxiety medication shortly before his arrest.
Admitting he was under the influence of RX meds, alcohol and cannabis, the troubled singer is said to have told law enforcement officers that he 'wasn't sure exactly what kind' of prescription drugs he had taken because he 'takes whatever his mom Pattie gives him', TMZ reports.

Oh baby! Justin Bieber has allegedly claimed his mother, Pattie Mallette, provided him with prescription drugs prior to his arrest in Miami, Florida, on Thursday morning

It is not known whether the Baby hitmaker has his own prescription for the drugs or he is using his mother's.
But if the teen idol does have a prescription for said medication, the presence of those substances in his system would not be held against him in a court of law.
A representative for Justin Bieber declined to comment when approached by MailOnline.
In spite of his somewhat cocky mugshot, People report the chart-topping star was 'crying his eyes out' following his arrest.

But in addition to his mother reportedly supplying Justin with his prescription drugs, his father, Jeremy Bieber, reportedly played a hand in his son's predicament.
A source told TMZ that he helped facilitate the drag race by assisting with blocking off the residential street that it took place in. He was also in nightclub SET with his son before the alleged race took place, according to the site.
Despite public support from the likes of Scooter Braun, the star’s manager, Bieber’s management team have reportedly issued him with an ultimatum to get help.

Bieber’s team, reportedly frustrated at the star’s insistence that he does not need to go to rehab, are now keen on him to enter psychotherapy, according to TMZ. Bieber is said to be open to the idea.
Sources connected to Bieber have told TMZ that they have trying to get him into rehab for months, but the troubled teen has insisted he does not need to go.
‘You’ll hear people today say, “Oh, he’s a young guy, he’s making mistakes, he’s a young kid”,’ said Bill Bush of Access Hollywood. ‘Scooter and his team, they’re all past that. They’re past that point with Justin.
‘Scooter has said to him, “You’ve gotta go get help, or I’m done. I’m done with you.”’

Meanwhile TMZ reports that sports label Adidas - a sponsor for the star - are standing by Justin despite his arrest, for now.
A rep for the company told the publication: 'Nothing is changing in our relationship with Mr. Bieber at this time'.
TMZ also report that the Mayor of Miami Beach, Philip Levine, has insisted there will be no special treatment for the star.
'Obviously we don't tolerate DUI or anything like that, I would expect there to be no special treatment for anyone,' he said.
Justin's emotional and teary side, reported in People, has been carefully concealed by the pop star since he was arrested on Thursday, after driving a bright yellow Lamborghini at up to 60mph in a 30mph speed limit zone while allegedly racing rapper Khalil, who was driving a Ferrari.

He had spent a night partying with model Chantel Jeffries and allegedly admitted to officers that he had been smoking marijuana 'all day', taking anti-depressants and drinking beer when he was stopped at 4am.
The troubled singer, who has had a number of brushes with the law - LA police raided his mansion earlier this month after a neighbor's house was attacked with eggs - allegedly asked the arresting officers 'Why the f*** did you stop me' this morning.
RadarOnline maintained, however, his mood was very different before he appeared on camera - the star was reportedly heard mumbling to himself and giggling, which the site's source attributed to him still being 'under the influence.'
TMZ also reported his blood alcohol content was .04; Florida has no tolerance for underage drunk drivers.
After being released he hid behind black sunglasses and a hoodie as he entered a waiting car.

Later, CBS Miami posted a photo of Justin's friend and rapper Khalil Sharief, allegedly bringing pizza to the star, while Gaby Fleischman, a CBS Miami reporter, shared a photograph purportedly showing Bieber out relaxing after a long day.
Hours after the arrest, Police Chief Raymond Martinez confirmed that the performer used the F word repeatedly after being stopped and kept putting his hands in his pocket.
Justin, who was in handcuffs as he was escorted to a county jail, looked depressed as he stood before the judge.

With his hair still coiffed into a slick Elvis Presley-style up-wave from the night before, but devoid of the gold earrings and chains he wore during his arrest, Justin appeared to already be hungover.
He moved his head from side to side and seemed to chew the inside of his cheek as he listened to the judge's remarks.
Bieber's bail was broken down by the judge as such: $1,000 for resisting arrest, $1,000 for his DUI and $500 for driving with an expired driver's license.

MailOnline has learned Justin has a jet waiting to take him back to California.
According to the police report, Justin used the F word repeatedly after being pulled over for drag racing.
'Why did you stop me?' said the singer. The officer noted he stopped him because he was drag racing, and in his report, noted Bieber had 'bloodshot eyes.'
After the officer asked the Believe star to step out of the car, he said, 'Why the f*** are you doing this?'
