The Pixel 9 appeared in a new set of CAD-based renders suggesting that Google is going for a new approach to its phone launch schedule. We previously saw two sets of renders back in January which are now said to have been the Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL. The new images show the same basic design as the Pixel 9 Pro and 9 Pro XL with a flat metal frame and revised camera island which now adopts an oval shape without warping into the frame like the visors on the previous two generations of Pixels.
