Google has released the Android platform distribution numbers for the month of May, revealing that the latest iteration of its mobile OS - Marshmallow - is now powering 7.5% of all active Android devices worldwide. That's quite a notable jump for Marshmallow given that its share was 4.6% last month. Lollipop, meanwhile, held on to the top spot with 35.6% share, slightly down from 35.8% in April.
