OnePlus isn't strictly following a one-year update cycle for its top-end smartphones, the One was announced in April 2014, and the 2 went official in July 2015. So whenever the OnePlus 3 arrives, it'll be on time, but rumors point to the end of this month. Anyway, an alleged working unit of the OnePlus 3 has surfaced in the hands of a user, who shared the experience on Weibo.
