Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, has promised to ensure
that the kidnappers of Senator Iyabo Anisulowo are arrested and brought
to book.
The governor stated this, on Thursday, when he visited the Sawonjo
farmland of the former Minister.
Senator Anisulowo was kidnapped at her farmland on Wednesday evening.
Speaking when he visited the farmland, on Thursday, the governor said:
"Ogun State is not a place for criminals. We will find those who did this and bring them to justice."
The governor added that "Ogun State is not and can never be a safe haven for criminals."
The governor was accompanied on the visit by the Commissioner of Police,
Ogun State Police Command, Abdulmajid Ali, the Assistant Inspector
general of Police, AIG Zone 2, Bala Hassan and the state director of SSS
among other security chiefs.
