Panasonic has announced the LUMIX GF8, a variation of the GF7 but with more emphasis on self portraits. Panasonic LUMIX GF8 The GF8 has the same 16 megapixel CMOS sensor with Micro Four Thirds lens mount. The sensor is capable of ISO 25600 sensitivity with contrast AF system that has face as well as eye detect. It can also record 1080p60 video and has Wi-Fi for wireless image transfers. The GF8 also includes a flipping touchscreen 1.04M dot display. Flipping the display switches the camera to self portrait mode. The camera also applies several effects such as changing skin texture, slimming the face, teeth whitening, etc. Effects that are commonly seen on smartphone camera apps but now included on a digital camera because why the hell not. You can further change your face by choosing the color of foundation, lips, cheeks, eye-shadow and so forth. Plastic surgeons hate this camera. The pricing and availability hasn't been announced...
