Aston Villa are targeting Emmanuel Adebayor as a replacement for Christian Benteke, according to the Birmingham Mail.
With Benteke set to join Liverpool after the Reds agreed to meet his £32.5m release cause, Adebayor, who scored 14 goals in 25 games for Tim Sherwood at Spurs, is thougt to be high on Villa’s list of replacements.
