Asus is expected to ship around 6-7 million tablets this year, according to a new report out of China which cites analysts. That's down a worrying 30% from the 9.4 million units the company shipped in 2014. The report also says that the Taiwan-based company managed to ship around 2.5 million tablets in the first half of the ongoing year, which is down 39% year-on-year. Quarter-wise, Asus shipped 1.5 million units in the first quarter and 1 million units in Q2 2015, although its goal was to ship 1.8 and 1.2 million units in the first two quarters, respectively.
