OAU Management Set To Re-Open University

The management of Obafemi Awolowo University, OAU is set to re-open the university after closing it down on the 18^th of June, 2014 after its students protested increase in their school fees. The school had to be shut down when the students’ protests won’t come to an end and it was already turning into a violent one.

But the university’s Public Relations Officer, Mr. Abiodun Olanrewaju in a statement today said the school will officially be opened on Sunday, 24^th of August 2014, and lectures will commence the following day, Monday 25^th. He also warned the students to be of good behaviour as they return back to school.
