Are Chefs Taking The Place Of Women In The Kitchen?

In the last 9 months, I have had to date two ladies, who unfortunately make do with the services of chefs. I find this quite shocking, and wonder if this is the direction we are heading to these days. 

I have heard similar stories from a couple of guys too, which indicates that it is now a trend. The question is, if single ladies now employ chefs to do their cooking, what happens when they eventually settle down or get married? Does it mean they will never cook for their spouses?

I grew up watching my mum cook for my dad and for us; but who is going to cook for men these days?
