Actress Helena Bonham Carter and Tim Burton have been pictured together for the first time since images emerged of the director appearing to kiss a mystery blonde.
The couple put on a united front as they held hands for all to see on stage at the Royal Albert Hall on Monday evening.
The picture of togetherness comes less than a week after 47-year-old Helena described speculation as 'absolute nonsense', insisting Tim and the blonde were among a group of family members and friends.

Looking very much together the couple held on to each other tightly as they appeared as special guests during a performance of Danny Elfman’s music from The Nightmare Before Christmas - a film which Burton wrote and produced.

The Dark Shadows director was seen gazing loving at his long-term partner after her spectacutar appearance on stage to perform Sally’s song.
Dressed in an appropriately quirky ensemble for the occasion she showed off her pale skin wearing a black corset with a full black skirt and very dramatic eye make-up in the style of Sally from the stop motion film.

Last week the actress' spokesperson denied the speculation about Tim appearing to cheat, telling the Daily Express: 'This is absolute nonsense, the pictures were taken whilst they were out and the large group includes family, friends and work colleagues.'

The images in question show director Tim in an apparent embrace with a mystery woman following a cinema date at the end of September.

The 55-year-old, who has been in a long term relationship with Bonham Carter for 12 years, was caught on camera as they returned to their car after watching cult film The Wicker Man.
While Tim and his actress partner are known for their unconventional relationship – they live in neighbouring London houses – they are believed to be very much together.
The couple were last seen together in public in March of this year when they attended an event with their children Billy and Nell, just days after they went to a Save The Children fundraiser together looking very much still a couple.

In the images of Tim's evening out with the mystery woman, first published on the New York Post, the Edward Scissorhands director is dressed down in jeans and a jacket as he follows the blonde, who looks younger than him, into the cinema.
Tim is instantly recognisable in the images due to his famous mop of curly hair and facial hair.
As they leave the cinema, the pair appear to enjoy an embrace and what seems to be a kiss before they get into the same car together.
A source told the MailOnline: 'They stopped in an alley to kiss before making their way back to her car together.'
